Baby on the Way!

So you’ve got a little one on the way, congrats! One of the most exciting experiences in life is happening to you right now! Whether this is your first or fifth child, pregnancy is an incredible and beautiful gift. Years ago, women only had the option of 2D Ultrasound. This black and white thermal image was impressive at the time, offering a basic photo of baby inside mom’s womb. Today, technology has advanced to allow us here at Baby Glimpses Highlands Ranch, to capture much more detailed images of your baby in utero. This gives mom, dad, grandparents, and even siblings the opportunity to bond with baby well before he/she is born.

3D/4D Ultrasound – Early Bonding (Expand more, and can seat up to 10)

3D/4D Ultrasound is an elective procedure which, like 2D Ultrasound, uses soundwaves to “peek” inside mom’s womb. 3D Ultrasound captures still images which may include distinct features and even facial expressions, how cute! 4D Ultrasound captures detailed video, so you can actually watch your baby move, see and hear his/her heartbeat, and, in some cases, even watch them suck their thumb. The best images usually occur between 26-32 weeks. Some women choose to come several times during this period, we hope to see you too! Others have 3D/4D Ultrasound performed every few weeks to document the miracle their entire pregnancy. While most parents bond with their child after only one visit, many choose to return multiple times to deepen their bond even further.

HD Ultrasound

At Baby Glimpses we also offer HD ultrasounds. HD ultrasound is a newer technology that gives a far more detailed look than standard 3D ultrasound, and realistic look of your child’s face while still in the womb and is available in single images or like the 4D ultrasound movie clip but with the HD ultrasound details. This is, of course, dependent on the package you choose!

A Family Affair!

Our goal at Baby Glimpses Highlands Ranch was to make our 3D/4D Ultrasound rooms here super comfy and cozy! Invite family and friends to enjoy this experience with you. Children are welcome and encouraged to come, too. It is amazing to watch a child’s face light up when they see their sibling inside mommy’s “belly” for the very first time!
